The lights are very nice even though they smell a pretty strong plastic, I imagine with the days if they get airy well they'll go away. The light hose has two brightness positions, one with flashing lights and one with the fixed lights. It doesn't bring the batteries included but for the money it's worth it's a good buy. The compartment you carry is for 3 AA batteries, and the building lights look totally water resistant, the balls are made of acrylic material, plastic imitating glass and are warm in color!
